The evolution of Tamil Cinema over the past four decades has been extraordinary. Transitioning from the era of black and white films, we witnessed significant changes starting from the generation of Barathiraja and Balachandar. The second wave emerged during the late 1980s and early 1990s, marked by the rise of filmmakers like Vasanth, R.V. Udhayakumar, and P. Vasu. Subsequently, in the late 2000s, directors such as Dharani, Ramana, and A.R. Murugados redefined action-packed cinema, establishing stars like Vijay , Ajith and Vikram.
In the last decade, there has been a notable shift with the emergence of new-age directors. To name a few commendable creative architects - Vetrimaran, Lokesh,Nelson, Maariselvaraj, Ranjith and Bala . These directors have introduced fresh concepts, innovative presentation styles, and thought-provoking narratives, elevating Tamil cinema to a standard which is well beyond the global taste. The dark side of this rise is the prevalence of extreme violence and coarse language, somewhat marring the beauty of the cinematic experience. Hence the script.

மறந்தோமோ நாம்

மஹானல்ல நான்
ரசிகனாய் வேண்டுகிறேன்
சமூகப்பொறுப்போடு
சிகைப்பைக்குறைத்து
நானலம் நல்கி
