The concept of evolution has always been something I admired. However, reflecting on the past two decades of our growth, certain aspects do concern me. While we seamlessly keep pace with numerous day-to-day advancements, whether in science or society, there’s a lingering sense that we may be losing the core values and concepts of some key aspects of life. The contemplation below delves into one such episode.
In the days of capturing photographs with our 28, 32, or 40-roll film cameras, the anticipation of waiting for days at film development shops added a unique charm. The prints often revealed imperfections, be it from sunlight exposure or amateur photography, and only a handful made it to the cherished collection in albums. Despite the technological prowess of mobile cameras today, I can’t help but feel that they may not capture the same feelings or evoke the age-old excitement and bubbly emotions we experienced back then.
